Client Experiences

I was so lucky to have found Lukas. After years of symptoms which suddenly evolved into something that became so hard for me to handle, I found the video Lukas made on TOS online, which eventually led me to Lukas. I can’t describe how helpful he has been. He has an excellent understanding of the human body and how to work around pain with supportive exercise programs. He is very aware of his current scope and works within the guidelines of his clients’ medical care teams. He is also very kind and empathetic. After years of not knowing what to do, Lukas was able to offer me some hope. Lukas will make an excellent physician one day!

Over several years, I developed a complex pain syndrome that was originally thought to be thoracic outlet syndrome. Despite having access to high level specialized medical care, my condition was deteriorating and I was not making any progress. Due to pain, debilitating fatigue, and dysautonomia, I was out of work and unable to do any activities and basically withdrew from life in general. Lukas has been instrumental in helping me get back on my feet and back to my life. He is very intelligent, empathetic, and a tireless worker that cares about his clients. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Root Cause Rehab has given me hope in my journey with chronic pain. I had the good fortune of being able to book an in-person consultation with Lukas. Lukas is a great listener, a pillar of his community, and unwaveringly on my team in my ongoing battle with chronic pain. Lukas thinks about the human body on another level. His exercise programs are rooted in research, and the support he provides is indicative of someone who has gone through this personally.

Lukas Zoldi has helped me more than anything else in my long journey with chronic pain. He is an incredibly calm and understanding person who deeply grasps the complex connection between mental and physical health. His curated programs have been pivotal in addressing the core of my struggles, especially his emphasis on the role of mental health and stress in chronic pain, and how these factors also influence breathing patterns. What truly set his approach apart for me was his focus on breathwork, how incorporating it into specific exercises opened up areas of restriction in ways traditional strength training never could. This not only improved my posture and stability dynamically but also gave me lasting relief. As an artist, writer, and filmmaker who has lived with chronic pain for years and tried everything, Lukas has made the most meaningful and enduring impact on my ability to work with less pain.

He’s incredibly kind, deeply caring, and impressively knowledgeable. The personalized exercise programming and support he’s offered have been incredibly valuable. When I felt stuck and unsure how to move forward, Lukas helped me feel more confident navigating next steps and communicating with my healthcare providers. I'm an Italian Physiotherapist, and unfortunately I started suffering with TOS in the past year. I got in touch with Lukas after seeing a YouTube video on TOS. What caught my attention, was his way of making complicated things simple and his science based exercise. From there I started to have consultations online. His ability to listen and emphasize with patients is incredible, he puts in a lot of dedication to help and does a really good job. I'm on the right track now, and making great progress. So very grateful to have a professional like him around and by my side.

Lukas has been a great source of support during my experience with chronic pain. From the start, he made an effort to understand what I was going through. He was always patient, clear, and approachable when explaining things, which made the whole process feel a lot less overwhelming.

One thing I’ve especially appreciated is how attentive he has been during our conversations. Lukas listened carefully, asked thoughtful questions, and offered practical suggestions. He’s also gone out of his way to connect me with external resources, including field specialists and others living with similar issues.

Having someone who is not only knowledgeable but also kind and genuinely interested in helping has meant a lot. I always felt comfortable asking questions or voicing concerns, and I never felt rushed or dismissed.

Overall, I’ve truly valued his support and insight. Lukas has a strong future ahead in medicine, and I’m grateful to have had his help along the way.

For over 2.5 years I had been struggling with tingling pains on my left side- arising after doing power yoga in an attempt to help prevent future injuries. The sudden jolting sensations not only started to interfere with my workouts but also everyday life: Whether typing, reading or trying to climb over seats when traveling for work.

After working with Lukas, not only does the pain not interfere with my day-to-day, but I’ve gotten back to high-intensity workouts without restrictions and also lessened tension headaches I was getting previously, too. For the first time, I feel empowered to use exercise as a helpful tool rather than fear it.

Not only that, Lukas was rigorous in optimizing his programs for me to ensure I was getting the most I could out of them but in a format that was most economical to my time.

As a teenager, I started experiencing paresthesia and coldness in my hands. It took months just to figure out the name of my condition—Thoracic Outlet Syndrome. I've undergone a variety of treatments with mixed success, but the most frustration came from the lack of knowledge I repeatedly encountered. Eventually I found Lukas’ YouTube channel. I met with him, and he provided valuable insight and support. He shared exercises I could try at home, resources to bring to my local physical therapist, and respected the boundaries set by my doctors. I highly recommend working with Lukas!

I had a consultation with Lukas to talk about my long-standing nerve condition, and I was really struck by how calm, present, and compassionate he was throughout. He listened with real care and offered helpful suggestions that showed both his knowledge and curiosity to learn more. It’s rare to find someone so grounded and sensitive, especially so early in their career. I’d highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone to speak to about their health – he has a bright future ahead of him.

I had undiagnosed TOS for 18 yrs and began my recovery journey in 2022. I was referenced to the Youtube videos that Lukas produced and I was thoroughly impressed with his knowledge and passion. When I met with Lukas, we shared our stories with pain, resources, and insights that have helped us both on our journeys. Lukas is an intelligent and compassionate young leader striving to help chronic pain patients in any way he can.

As an elite collegiate athlete, I’ve faced multiple acute injuries that hinder my performance. Typically, I receive generic rest or ice recommendations with little consideration for my specific needs, which isn’t always feasible mid-season. Lukas, however, has an exceptional understanding of the human body. He answers questions clearly and provides a personalized plan. Over the past year, I’ve experienced faster recoveries, improved mobility, and greater strength, significantly reducing my injury frequency. I can’t thank him enough and highly recommend his expertise.

After transitioning from a job where I stood all day to one where I sit for long periods, I began experiencing lower back discomfort that impacted my workouts. Lukas was incredibly helpful—not only in listening to my concerns but in providing clear guidance. After just one session, I left feeling confident and understood. He shared practical movement strategies to help me manage and prevent future issues. Thank you, Lukas!
